Telegrams concerning the Bank of California, 1875 Aug. 26-30.

Consists of two telegrams. The first, from Eugene J. Fuller, informs Abbott that the Bank of California has suspended payment, predicts that other banks will also fail, and describes the mood in San Francisco. The second, sent to the Antioch Ledger by M. D. Boruck, secretary of the Republican State Central Committee, comments on the Republican and Democratic tickets, and cites public indignation against the San Francisco Bulletin and Call for causing the failure of the Bank of California and the death of Ralston.
